About the Founder
Hi, I’m Jennifer Maxwell, an international student from Liberia, currently completing a graduate program at Lehigh University.
During my undergrad at Muhlenberg College, I found myself frustrated by the same aisle of synthetic pads I’d grown up with. Loud packaging, toxic materials, and nothing that actually felt good. So, I started asking questions. The deeper I dug, the clearer it became: we deserve better. We deserve comfort and values, care and transparency.
So, I created Ciatta, named after my mom, the woman who taught me how to speak up, show up, and never compromise on what matters.
This brand isn’t just about period products. It’s about rewriting the story around period care. It’s about dignity, honesty, and showing up for people who’ve been left out of the conversation for far too long.
